Washington Students Get a Boost in Aid Toward STEM & Health Care Degrees
Up to $17,000 is now available through the Washington State Opportunity Scholarships. "It's terrific," said state Rep. Ross Hunter, D-Medina, of the award expansion. HERO Institute Draws 400 Students and Visit from AT&T
This season's HERO Institute was held Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, and drew more than 400 students from Yakima, Tacoma, Highline and Seattle schools in grades 7-12. During the event, Dan Youmans, state president of AT&T Washington, wowed the audience when he presented CSF with a $300,000 award from AT&T's Aspire program.
